Radical Synthesis by High Note

Radical Synthesis is a single-day experimental music event featuring three Narm-based synthesists: Nū, Assembly, and Prudence Rees-Lee, held at Eastmint on April 25, 2026, from 7pm to 11pm. The lineup begins with doors at 7pm, followed by Prudence Rees-Lee at 7:30pm, Assembly at 8:30pm, and Nū at 9:30pm, exploring themes of emancipation through music performance rituals and collective subjectivities. Nū blends Afrofuturism, non-Western traditions, and electronic elements; Prudence Rees-Lee creates immersive spatial sound experiences; and Assembly experiments with ritual and technological emergence. Amenities include a $5 vegan laksa and bar service. The event acknowledges the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation and offers sliding scale tickets from $10-$60 with free options for First Nations and companions.
