The Mouth & Banksia by no_organiser

The Mouth & Banksia is a single-day live music event presented by Noisy Youth at Cross St Music Hall on 17 April 2026, running from 7pm to 11pm. The Mouth, featuring percussionist Ray Pereira, saxophonist Julien Wilson, guitarist Robbie Belchamber, bassist Ash Howell, and drummer Quinn Knight, delivers original compositions inspired by rare polyrhythms from Africa, Cuba, and Sri Lanka. Banksia, a Melbourne-based five-piece band emerging in 2024, blends nu-jazz with psychedelia, Latin, house rhythms, and hip hop for groovy, improvisational sets starting at 8pm and 9pm respectively.
