Bach and the Bard by Linda’s Crystal Journey

Bach and the Bard is an hour-long concert that intertwines William Shakespeare's poetry with music by J.S. Bach, Pablo Casals, Michael Praetorius, and Paradis. Performed by cellist Rachel Scott, percussionist Ben Sibson, and actors from the award-winning Sport for Jove theatre company, the event explores the blurred lines between words and music. Scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Beechworth Town Hall, it brings acclaimed national talent to the regional community. Sport for Jove recently won Best Ensemble and Best Director at the 2025 Sydney Theatre Awards for their Shakespeare history plays cycle, The Player Kings.
