Community Resilience Event Talkin Tough by The Science Collective

The Community Resilience Event – Talkin’ Tough features Ben Pettingill and Mike Rolls, known as Legless & Blind, in a powerful session as part of Mallee Community Wellbeing Week. Through raw real-life experiences, they challenge ideas of toughness, break down mental health stigma, share practical tools, and foster real conversations. The single-day event takes place on 20 May 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM AEST at Mildura Sporting Precinct. Open to all community members including families, sporting clubs, and workplaces, it runs approximately 2 hours with a welcome, keynote, and Q&A. Sponsored by M Group Mildura and Mental Health and Wellbeing Local, it sparks ongoing discussions for connected communities. Photography may occur, with opt-out available.
