Standard Mental Health First Aid by Matt Gray

The Standard Mental Health First Aid course is a comprehensive 12-hour program conducted over two days, designed to equip participants with the skills to provide initial support to adults experiencing mental health issues. Taking place at the University of Tasmania's Inveresk Campus on July 2 and 3, 2025, the course covers a range of mental health problems and crises, including depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. This educational workshop is based on evidence-based guidelines and aims to foster a better understanding of mental health support. Participants will gain valuable accreditation valid for three years.
