AVÉ - The Long Moment is an intimate chamber vocal performance by the Australian Vocal Ensemble, featuring four leading singers at the Mount Beauty Community Centre. Scheduled for Friday, 1 May 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:20 PM AEST, the program highlights newly commissioned works inspired by Tim Winton's words, composed by Emma Jayakumar, Ruben Davies, Lachlan Skipworth, Aaron Wyatt, Andrew O’Connor, and Katie Noonan. The ensemble also pays tribute to the golden age of vocal polyphony with interpretations of Bach and Tomás Luis de Victoria.
