Festival Fundraiser Strathbogie by Scott St Memorial Hall

This spontaneous one-day music festival and fundraiser at Strathbogie Memorial Hall on 18 April 2026, from 4pm to 11pm, supports musician John Bennett and his family after they lost their home and cellar door in the Longwood bushfire, while celebrating the survival of their grape vines. It features a diverse lineup including the John Bennett Quintet with South African jazz and funk, soul singer Jojo Smith, Kora master Lamine Sonko, Celtic folk duo Damien Neil and Sile Coleman, New Orleans-inspired Hoodoo Mayhem, Botswana blues artist Mpaphi Nfandizo, folk-soul duo In Lamp Light, and surprise guests. The event also launches Antcliff's Chase new vintage Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with tastings and sales, alongside hearty food and drinks available separately (no BYO), with all profits benefiting the cause. Low ticket prices and free entry for under 15s make it accessible, with volunteer opportunities available.
