Contemporary Dance on the Sunshine Coast by City of Adelaide Lions Club

The third workshop in Motus Integrated Arts' 2026 Community program is a Contemporary Dance Workshop held on May 23, 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00 at North Shore Community Centre in Mudjimba, Australia. Facilitated by experienced performer and choreographer Jade Brider, participants explore expressive movement blending modern, classical, and improvisational techniques, focusing on creativity, body awareness, foundational skills, guided improvisation, and dynamic movement in a supportive environment. The session includes acknowledgement and introductions, a 60-minute dance class, and a relaxed tea sharing for reflection and community connection. Open to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities with accessibility support available upon request, it emphasizes inclusion and intercultural dialogue. No one is turned away for financial reasons despite the suggested $10 contribution.
