Recycled Floral Art Workshop by Mid North Christian College

This single-day hands-on workshop at Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM invites young participants to transform recycled materials like cardboard, plastic bottles, and fabric scraps into colorful floral artworks. The session begins with an introduction to recycling and sustainability, followed by guided techniques for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials to create individual blooms, bouquets, or collaborative murals. Emphasizing creativity, problem-solving, and environmental awareness, participants build artistic skills in a fun, supportive environment and take home their unique creations. Materials are provided, and the free event is supported by grant funding from the Department of Human Services.
