Start Your Week With Watercolour by Zonta International Clubs in South Australia

stART your Week with Watercolour is a beginner-friendly 7-week course for adults (ages 16+) held every Sunday from May 17 to June 28, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM ACST at Alex Beckinsale Art & Illustration Workshop. Led by early career artist Alex Beckinsale, the series covers watercolour basics, monochrome values, colour theory, still life, portraits, and a two-week project, helping participants master this unpredictable medium through subjects like botanicals, landscapes, and portraiture. Participants need to bring their own watercolour sets, brushes, sketchbook, and other basic materials. The course builds confidence for newcomers or those returning to watercolours.
