Playford History Festival by City of Playford - Grenville Centre

The Playford History Festival is a single-day community event on 16 May 2026, from 10:00 to 14:00 at Playford Civic Centre and Prince George Plaza in Elizabeth, SA. Visitors can explore local history through a photo exhibition, toy museum, and star dome, while enjoying free BBQ, Toney Coney ice cream, live music, and Holden car displays. Fun kids' activities include DIY spinning tops, giant games, and gold sifting, alongside baked goods and community stalls. All ages are welcome in this free, nostalgic celebration of Playford's past and shared stories. Note that the toy museum and star dome require separate bookings, and no pets are allowed.
