4FE Modernist Museum by 4th Floor Elevator

The 4FE Modernist Museum showcases a curated collection of furniture art, product, and industrial design from Australia (1950s-1980s) and around the globe, displayed in a historic 1879 building in Adelaide CBD. Running on four Saturdays—11 and 25 April, and 9 and 23 May 2026—from 11:00 to 17:00, the exhibition highlights mid-century, vintage, industrial, and space age designs through a contemporary lens. Visitors can explore international pieces, an 8-bit vintage gaming corner for kids, and elements of music, video graphics, and pop culture. Entry is $10 (kids under 12 free), available online or at the door, offering an educational and inspiring experience for all ages.
