Sculptural Creations in Clay

Sculptural Creations in Clay is a five-week workshop series led by artist and teacher Monika Scarrabelotti, running every Saturday from May 2 to May 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00 at the Blackheath Art Society. Participants learn the principles of building, modeling, hollowing out, and reassembling clay sculptures, culminating in a ceramic piece ready for kiln firing. Open to all skill levels with no prior experience required, the classes cover subject matter like figurative forms, animals, portraiture, or abstracts, with clay provided and a small firing fee applicable. Each session includes a 15-minute tea break in a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment. Currently sold out for both member and non-member tickets.
