Hana Macklin presents her project (V) at The Cave Inn, showcasing the talents of five Brisbane-based women musicians performing material from her forthcoming album. The set blends neo-soul, jazz, R&B, progressive, and world music with electro-acoustic elements including flute, cello, keys, drums, and layered vocals, exploring themes of Mother Nature, the cosmos, imagination, and humanity's hopes alongside reflections on injustice. Supporting acts include Shugorei, featuring vibraphone, percussion, synths, and Japanese mysticism, plus a TBA opener. The single-day event occurs on April 24, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM AEST.
