Joshua Hatcher Quartet Winds of Change by JMI Live

Joshua Hatcher Quartet presents Winds of Change, a tribute to mid-century tenor saxophone masters including Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, Joe Henderson, and Wayne Shorter, at JMI Live in Brisbane. The quartet, featuring Joshua Hatcher on tenor saxophone, Steve Newcomb on piano, Nick Quigley on bass, and Aaron Jansz on drums, performs their compositions and innovations from that era. This single-day event occurs on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, in an intimate on-campus jazz club hosted by Jazz Music Institute. Doors open at 7:30 PM, with a licensed bar available. All ages welcome, with under-18s requiring guardian accompaniment. Entry is $20 plus fees.
