Icons Exhibition by Garricks Camera House

The Icons Exhibition serves as the opening event for a vibrant showcase celebrating the creativity and vision of Sunshine Coast artists living with disability, presented by Equity Works in partnership with Horizon Festival 2026. The collection features artworks that explore iconic places, memories, people, objects, and concepts through deeply personal and diverse perspectives, highlighting the region's unique atmosphere, culture, and spirit. More than a standard exhibition, it acts as a platform for inclusion and representation, amplifying often unheard voices and sharing stories, identity, and talent with the wider community. The single-day opening takes place on 1 May 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 at Equity Works Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore. This free event is part of the annual Horizon Festival, an arts and cultural celebration on Kabi Kabi and Jinibara Country.
