International Meetup by Spencer Wakelam

The International Meetup is a weekly recurring social event held every Wednesday from April 15 to September 2, 2026, at the Stock Exchange Hotel in Brisbane. Starting at 5:30 PM and running until 8:30 PM AEST, it offers free activities, possible free snacks for early arrivals, cheap drinks around $7, and food specials. Aimed at international students, working holiday makers, and those practicing English, the event features a rotation system to facilitate larger group interactions in a casual pub atmosphere, sometimes upstairs or downstairs. ID is required for 18+ entry only. Organized by Daniel Loh, Maya, Naoko, and team, it connects over 13,300 Meetup group members.
