Honeypot presents WAX, a queer dance party launching as a monthly event at the Colombian Hotel in Darlinghurst, spanning Friday, 22 May 2026 from 10pm to Saturday, 23 May at 4am. The night features dark grooves and house beats including bass, disco, techno, house, and afrobeat, with music by Claddy, Niki, and more, set against velvet couches and disco balls. Aimed primarily at lesbians, trans people, dykes, and dolls, it offers tiered ticketing with community tickets at $15, general at $25, and free for mob and trans women. Unique policies include no phones on the dancefloor for privacy and immersion, plus all profits directed to local First Nations organisations on Gadigal land.
