Ecstatic Dance Sydney Bondi by Sally Phillips

Ecstatic Dance Sydney Bondi is a monthly recurring sober dance event held every first Thursday at the Bondi Pavilion's High Tide Room, starting with sessions on 7 May 2026 and 4 June 2026 from 7:30pm to 9pm AEST. Participants engage in a 90-minute freestyle dance journey without words, phones, or shoes, guided by a live DJ mixing a spectrum of music from soft warmups and bass beats to sound healing cool downs. The event fosters a safe, inclusive space for body-mind-spirit connection through movement, emotional release, and non-verbal communication. Unique aspects include its alcohol-free nature, emphasis on personal introspection, and cultural acknowledgement of local Indigenous custodians.
