The Bunting Making Workshop Series Part 2 invites kids, adults, and aspiring artists to create hand-painted canvas buntings themed around Filipino culinary heritage for Filofomofest 2026. Participants will draw inspirations like the palayok or Philippine mango using provided canvas, watercolours, and pens, with snacks and drinks included in a relaxed community setting. Held on 18 April 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Rouse Hill Community Centre, the buntings will be displayed at Paddy’s Flemington in April and Parramatta in June. Entry is free for kids with a gold coin donation suggested for adults, and registration is required. Organized by Filipino Food Movement Australia Inc. in collaboration with Halo Halo Events AU, it fosters intergenerational creativity and cultural pride.
