Clay and Play is a school holiday workshop for children aged 4-10 at Mortdale Community Centre on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00. The event features two back-to-back 50-minute sessions led by Dr. Jessica Lemire: Session 1 involves sculpting quirky monster creatures from oven-bake clay, baked into fridge magnets; Session 2 explores imaginative monster movements through playful dance. Parents must attend to supervise, with options to join activities, in a small group of up to 20 kids with two facilitators. The inclusive program welcomes shy children and those with disabilities, emphasizing creativity without prior experience needed.
