Teen Acting for Film and TV by no_organiser

The Teen Acting for Film and TV course is a 9-week program for ages 13-17, starting Monday, 27 April 2026, and running every Monday until 22 June 2026 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at Newcastle Comedy Club. Participants learn essential screen acting skills including natural on-camera performances, script breakdown, camera awareness, improvisation, character development, audition techniques, and working on set with cameras and crew. The hands-on sessions feature filming and reviewing scenes in a supportive, low-pressure environment with small class sizes and individual feedback, led by experienced filmmakers and performers. This course emphasizes practical film and TV skills distinct from stage acting, helping teens build confidence, comfort on camera, and creative thinking.
