Let's Make Comics by Sweet P

Let's Make Comics is a single-day workshop designed for children to learn storytelling through comics at the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre on April 24, 2026, from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM. Led by professional illustrator Dion Hamill, participants will develop characters, plots, and unique art styles while building confidence in writing, drawing, and communication. All materials are provided, and parents are welcome but not required to stay. This engaging session supports literacy skills and creative expression in a fun, supportive environment.
